Sunday Morning is Just the Start
At Wilmington Community Evangelical Church, we believe that attendance on Sunday mornings is just the start of what Christian community should look like. We have opportunities to get plugged into small groups, take classes, serve the neighborhood, and make genuine connection with other people.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Bring the whole family
Our children are well cared for on Sunday mornings in Children’s church at 9:30 AM and Sunday school at 11 AM. Friday nights we offer AWANA activities from 7–9 PM in the main hall, and Vacation Bible School in the summer.
YOUTH GROUP
For your teens
Our students from 7th to 12th grade meet every Friday from 7–9 PM for games, music, a message and small group discussions.
PRAYER MINISTRY
Seeking God together
At our regular prayer circle gatherings, we rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep, bringing our requests to God and thanking him for responding.
BIBLE STUDY
Salt & Light Bible Study
This is a peer-led inductive Bible study group. We meet regularly in groups of 10-20 on Saturday for study, discussion and a delicious potluck meal.
FELLOWSHIP
MomCo
Momming can be hard, but . . . it doesn’t have to be alone. Our mothers meet twice a month for community, connections and mutual support on their journey of motherhood.
MANDARIN CHINESE SPEAKERS
Mandarin Chinese Sister Congregation
We offer numerous activities for Mandarin Chinese speakers (and a few for Cantonese speakers). These include a Sunday worship service, Sunday school, and midweek meetings of all kinds.
